Building Health

Laying the foundation

Building health is like building a house – you need a good blueprint (your DNA), good materials (healthy food, water, air, movement, rest and thoughts) and a good builder (your innate intelligence expressing itself through a fully functioning nervous system) in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, you must begin with a solid foundation, so your walls will be strong and support your roof. The same is true in your body. Your body has to build health from the inside out in order to be fully healthy. The three levels of chiropractic care will help you through different levels of health building:

Level 1: Relief Care

When you are in pain, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, and how long it has been there, it is typical to need care 2-3 times per week for 2-8 weeks.

Level 2: Corrective Care

For those who want to rebuild the health and stabilize vitality in their spinal column and nervous system. It is typical to need care 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on how healthy you were to begin, and how much you live a healthy chiropractic lifestyle.

Levels 3: Wellness Care

To keep the gains made during your corrective plan, periodic check ups and adjustments are necessary. This generally requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
